The newly-formed Giants Netball team has secured its second major partner in a week, bringing a construction firm on as its front-of-dress partner.
FDC Construction & Fitout, a national building firm, has agreed a two-year major partnership with the franchise, a new entrant into next year's Suncorp Super Netball competition.
Ben Cottle, FDC's managing director and founder, said the partnership would promote gender equality in the construction industry, where only 12% of jobs are filled by women.
"FDC recognises the importance of having a gender balance at all levels of management within our company... We are well aware of the employment opportunities available to talented female engineers, managers and other professionals and of the huge potential for women to succeed in the trades."
For the Giants, the joint-venture team being put together by Netball NSW and the AFL's GWS Giants, it follows last week's partnership with Bing Lee.
FDC will feature on the front of the team's playing dress and Bing Lee on the back, though final apparel designs are yet to be finalised.
