Pepper Money has launched its first major brand campaign with the Wests Tigers since signing on as the NRL club’s Principal Partner in late 2024.
It dubs the promotion as Really Helpful Loan Options featuring head coach, Benji Marshall and NRLW captain Kezie Apps as well as co-captains Jarome Luai and Apisai Koroisau.
It will run on TV, digital and stadium media channels this season.
Pepper Money has replaced long-term Tigers backer, Brydens Lawyers on the front of jersey. The latters’ departure was confirmed in May 2024 following the club’s former chairman, Lee Hagipantelis being removed earlier in the year.
The law firm was club Major Partner for ten years.
Pepper’s three-year agreement covers branding across the men’s and women’s teams as well as on coaching apparel, the media backdrop and sideline boxes.
Wests Tigers chief executive, Shane Richardson said the deal was the largest in the club’s 25-year history.
Speaking on the campaign, he added that, “Our players wanted to be involved because we believe in what Pepper Money stands for, helping people and backing them.”
“This collaboration taps into a shared belief that being helpful in life means stepping up for others when it matters most.”
Pepper Money CEO, Mario Rehayem replied that the campaign reflected the company’s values and commitment to its customers.
“It’s not a glossy promise or statement, it’s a reflection of our values and who we are,” he said.
The promotion will build awareness of the company’s flexible lending options for Australians who struggle to meet the requirements of traditional banks.
Additional activations are planned through the club’s community platform, Wests Tigers Empower.
