The new Giants Netball joint venture has landed electrical goods retailer Bing Lee as its first sponsor, as part of a wider deal between the retailer and Netball NSW, while Netball Victoria has also signed a key partnership.

As part of the four-year deal, Bing Lee will feature on the Giants' netball uniform. Bing Lee will also become the official retailer of Netball NSW, and sponsor both the organisations elite-level teams, the Giants and the Swifts.

Interestingly, one of Bing Lee's major rivals, Harvey Norman, is a principal sponsor of the Giants' AFL-Women's team.

The deal will coincide with Bing Lee's 60th anniversary in 2017 and will run until at least the end of 2020. Bing Lee has invested sparingly in sponsorship since ending an alliance with the A-League's Sydney FC in 2011.

Meanwhile, Netball Victoria and its Super Series entrant, the Melbourne Vixens, have unveiled a new partnership with Australia's largest sushi chain, Sushi Sushi.

Sushi Sushi, which has more than 120 outlets across Australia, has entered into what was described as a "long-term" deal with the Vixens and Netball Victoria.

Sushi Sushi will receive branding on the back of the Vixens' 2017 apparel and sponsor NetSetGo in Victoria and the state's official Schools Championships.

The Giants, Swifts and Vixens will all feature in the eight-team Super Series, which will debut in February 2017 as part of a major new broadcast deal between Netball Australia, Telstra and Nine's GEM Network.
