Hawaiian Airlines has signed on as a foundation partner of the Giants Netball franchise in a partnership designed to tap into the sport's growing fan-base.

Giants Netball, a joint venture between Netball NSW and the AFL's GWS Giants, has secured a two-year deal with the US-based carrier, which becomes the official international airline of the team.

Hawaiian Airlines will sponsor a hospitality initiative known as 'The Best Seats in the House', which will give away VIP tickets to Giants members and fans.

Gai Tyrrell, the airline's regional director of Australia and New Zealand, said the partnership had been "carefully chosen" to match Hawaiian Airline's "challenger status."

The partnership will also be used to promote Hawaiian Airlines' daily flights between Sydney and Honolulu. The airline also flies between Brisbane and Honolulu several times weekly.

With less than a week until the inaugural Super Netball season debuts, Giants Netball has assembled a strong portfolio of partners. Its foundation sponsors will include electronics retailer Bing Lee, car-maker Nissan and construction group FDC.
