MKTG Sports and Entertainment has a new PR and talent marketing division which is part of a broader strategic move aimed at amplifying the agency's services across the Asia-Pacific region.

The Melbourne-based firm has also appointed former FIFA Women’s World Cup senior partnerships manager Rachael Sharratt as head of client services and Steve Whately, former general manager of Greenroom Digital as its head of business solutions.

The changes are geared towards offering a more integrated and comprehensive service and includes a substantial investment in creative services.  It is also hoped that a more centralised approach to brand and rights holder services will augment production capabilities and assist its in-stadium sports presentation team.

The newly formed PR and talent marketing team will be led by Stephanie Rudnick, an American PR veteran with extensive experience in nurturing personal brands for A-list athletes and major brands. Her previous roles include leading PR efforts for Angel City Football Club and the XFL, equipping her with a unique skill set beneficial to MKTG's clientele.

MKTG Sports and Entertainment managing director, Matt Connell, was confident in the new phase of the business, highlighting the global network's support and the talented team spanning Australia and New Zealand.

"Our strengthened and our new offerings, combined with a refreshed organisation design that puts our customers at the centre of what we do, will create new and exciting value for our clients, partners and our people," Connell said.

Other appointments include Ross Allen as creative director within the businesses’ integrated marketing services division, overseen by general manger Jarrad Provis.  Josh Hall has been appointed as an art director while Briana Doyle has been promoted to general manager of the centralised partnerships and events team.  Monique Horan will be taking the lead in sports presentation efforts.
