Sponsorship information for:

Brisbane Heat has secured two new backers to replace Great Southern Bank and Betta Electrical.

Both will cover the men’s and women’s BBL teams.

Cricket Queensland general manager of marketing and corporate affairs, Pete Lock confirmed that the principal partner will be announced early next month, followed by the major partner in late July.

Both agreements are multi-year.

Lock complimented the previous sponsors for allowing sufficient time to secure these deals.

This was used to test the market and finalise the club’s playing kits.

Tripadeal, the previous sponsor on the pants, is in renewal discussions but the Heat enjoys the right to explore other options.  This is the Heat’s final kit asset.

Lock emphasised the importance of unhurried discussions with partners to understand their interests and to ensure a smooth transition to new deals.

Brisbane Heat’s market approach is to involve families to bring reinvestment back into the community through Queensland Cricket, he said.

Lock confided that the new major partner is an upgrading sponsor already on the Heat’s roster..

The new principal partner is not new to sponsorship but is new to the Big Bash League.
