The Ironman group has announced a global sponsorship with Qatar Airways that lasts until the end of 2025, with events in the Oceania region expected to particularly benefit from transport opportunities.
Marvel Stadium will host the one-day conference on Tuesday October 18, the first major sponsorship industry gathering since March 2019.
The sponsor-side heavy-duty program will feature speakers from Alinta Energy, Bond University, Grill'd, NAB, Nissan, WorkSafe Victoria. Deakin University, Asahi, Great Southern Bank, HCF, Kia, and Facebook - a bunch more to be announced shortly.
Highlights include a unique fan engagement session featuring representatives from specialist platform, Komo, and former Bupa sponsorship executive, Adrian Baillargeon, returns to lead an interactive workshop covering team culture and its impact on ROI.
The conference keynote will be delivered by Chris Hobden from True North Research.
The address will reveal the best-in-class sponsorships and share why these partnerships have been so successful.
He will also introduce delegates to the BenchMark Sponsorship Evaluation Framework, a practical, hands-on tool that provides brands with a new way to consider and assess current and future partnerships, and in the process removing any latent biases.
