Major motorsport player Yamaha has become the first motorcycle manufacturer to take title sponsorship of a Superbike World Championship event, taking the rights to the 2005 Yamaha Phillip Island Superbike World Championship round, to be held at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit April 1-3.
