New tax policy "threatens to undermine viability of Australia’s sporting industry"
The Australian Athletes' Alliance has strongly condemned a little-noted measure in the 2018 Federal Budget which proposes to change the tax rules covering licensing of the image rights for "high profile individuals such as sportspeople", saying the move would have dire consequences for Australian sport.
